It's been a short while since I've laughed out loud at the movies (Bridesmaids), especially when half of the films I've seen so far have been snoozers.

And now we have Horrible Bosses to add to must-see list. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day (love him!) are used to getting together and complaining about their evil bosses. Until one day, an idea to kill them germinates.

Bateman, Day and Sudeikis make a great comedic team. I'd love to see more of them!

Three are now dead. John is Number Four and must battle the Mogadorians hunting him in order to save the remaining four members of his home planet.

This might be a scenario where the book is definitely better than the film. This dragged until the last twenty minutes.

This was an enjoyable little film.

I really enjoyed this. I wish I had time to watch it more than once! It's like watching a saucy soap opera. The snarky teenager had to be my favorite character.

It is a rare thing when a story shocks me. I had heard of the book and always meant to read it and as usual hadn't gotten around to it. What a mistake that was! This is a head-trip! The story felt so everyday until it folded over organically into the sci-fi realm. And I think that the simplicity of the story is what impressed me the most.

Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield play so well off each other's pain and angst of the unknown. The viewer can't help but feel their inner turmoil. And even though you know how this will end, you have a small glimmer of home that it could change. If only.

John Malkovich is crazy! He absolutely steals this movie. Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Mary Louise Parker and Morgan Freeman round out the kick-ass crew.

This is not your typical 'assassin having a mid-life crisis' kind of film. I, unfortunately, did not give it my full attention the first time, but learned that this is the type of film to be watched without distraction, with a glass of wine and digested slowly.

As a side note, if you have little experience with Europeans films you may have a hard time getting into this. I do admit, I'd have liked to have seen a little more momentum in the story.

While I was watching this I kept thinking of the film Conspiracy Theory. Is this guy for real? Why is this making sense? Can this really happen to our society? The more I think about it, the scarier the inevitability seems. This film is a frightening wake-up call.

Aside from a weak story line, I kept getting distracted by how pretty Efron looked in this film. They must've had some really good lighting and makeup on this one. I get the concept of life & death experience, survivor guilt and the whole "I see dead people" thing they were shooting for, but it was poorly executed. Anyways, it's been done so many other times ... and better.

I just wasn't convinced of Adrien Brody as the tough and rugged type. This installment was better than the previous two, but was no where near as suspenseful and scary as the first film. And of course, they leave the ending open for a possible sequel. I hope that doesn't happen.

There's two hours I'm never getting back! This was a horrible remake of a classic film. And they don't include Bubo the owl! Really? The mythic story of Perseus was completely chewed up (not that the original was completely accurate, but it was so much closer than this) and what was regurgitated is an overly technical, boring, choppy, wanna-be epic action flick that Hollywood pooped out for the pre-teens. Next time they should spend more time on the story and less on the technology. Watch the original film. It's much more entertaining.

As mentioned above, this film is a throwback to the Gothic horror films we watched as kids. The story is a little choppy and can drag at times, but I appreciated the simplicity of it.

Who doesn't like to see foul-mouthed, wise-cracking freshmen misfits, tired of getting crapped on by the school bully, hire a bodyguard ... on a budget. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for ... and they get Drillbit Taylor (Wilson).

It actually wasn't as bad as I had expected. Granted, the story and themes are blatantly copied from other classic sci-fi films (Aliens, etc).

Ben Foster carries the film.

Reading this article is so aggravating. Like one of the featured users, I have had spotty signal at home since June 2009. For the prices we are paying, especially iPhone users, it is crazy that AT&T expects us to pay MORE! Are you kidding me?! Why don't they "fix" the towers they claim to be servicing.

In order to receive a credit on your bill you must call the wireless services department. I was told the credit could not exceed $25. If you don't have service, get that credit!

If AT&T loses iPhone exclusivity at the end of the year I'll be one of the many jumping ship to another carrier.

I'm a fan of Guy Ritchie's films, save one, and I was initially surprised how Hollywood this was, but I quickly got over it and enjoyed it for what it was. For those who had to read Holmes' stories as a kid, you knew too that Moriarty was pulling the strings. I really liked that bit.

Wikipedia: "When Guy Ritchie finished the movie, he discussed a sequel with the production team. Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law and other cast members also signed up to a possible sequel. Ritchie has started to write the story and pre-production begins on March 21, 2010. Sherlock Holmes 2 is a possible title for the film, which will help to cement the new Sherlock Holmes franchise. It is rumored that Brad Pitt might play the role of Professor Moriarty.^[20]

Don't worry, it's rated G for the kids so you won't be seeing what happens when animals really attack.

Law Abiding Citizen

This movie was soooo kick-ass. Gerard Butler plays a Law Abiding Citizen whose his family gets murdered. When the attackers brook a deal, he takes matters into his own hands.

Although I enjoyed the action-filled build-up, the ending just kind of fizzled.

This is definitely worth seeing in the theater.

Although overly predictable, I didn't hate this film ... in large part due to the talented supporting cast. Betty White is a scene stealer. She's still got it! This film is rentable for a very lazy Sunday afternoon at home on the couch.
